Imo State University Students Union Government election will hold tomorrow, Friday, 17th July, 2015. The campaign ban was lifted yesterday, Wednesday and the campus went crazy
with campaign movements as almost all the aspirants went around the school with their crowd of supporters to win the hearts of the populace.
The supporters were in high spirits as they chanted the respective names of the candidate they support.
Among the aspirants we captured were Sunky who is contesting for Director of Socials, KK for secretary general, capacity, First Choice, and Legacy for President, Zanders Fm for Director of Information, and Fresh air.
The campaigns are expected to continue today. It is worthy of note that IMSU has stayed over a year without Students Union Government due to the policies of the former Vice Chancellor Architect Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie which many have said really suppressed students unionism.
